Dog and Cat Licenses

Licenses for dogs and cats are renewed annually and are due by September 30th.  Fees double on October 1st. Proof of rabies certificate must be presented.

Fee:
$15.00 - spayed/neutered
$25.00 - not spayed/neutered

If you lose your pet, check with the Hawk Creek Animal Shelter at 250 28th St. SW, Willmar, MN 56201 (320-235-7612) to see if it has been impounded.  If not, contact the Paynesville Police Department (243-7346) to report it as missing.  It is mandatory to license your pet within the city limits.  This can be very instrumental in the return of your lost pet as license numbers can be tracked to the owner.
