Lake Koronis Recreational Trail


The Lake Koronis Recreational Trail is a safe, non-motorized trail connecting the City of Paynesville and Lake Koronis. Enjoy the beauty of the city and all that nature has to offer. The year-long appeal of the trail will attract those of all ages and various fitness levels. So, whether it is hiking, biking, jogging, in-line skating, or just a leisurely stroll; take a long look around at everything Paynesville and the surrounding area has to offer.
Trail highlights:- Over 16.5 miles of paved biking and hiking trails that loop around Lake Koronis.
- The trail runs through two public parks/beaches along the way; Veteran’s Park and Lake Koronis Regional Park.
- Connects to the Glacial Lakes State Trail by riding out over the Veteran's Drive bridge.
- The trail runs along farms and cropland as well as wooded nature trails offering scenic views of the lake and surrounding area.
