Paynesville Municipal Airport
Paynesville officially opened its new Muncipal Airport in September 2003. The 3,300'x75' paved runway supports planes up to a maximum of 12,500 lbs. The following is some general information about Paynesville's Municipal Airport:

The City has two 10-unit T-hangars and one 8-unit T-hangar with an arrival/departure area located within the hangar. The dimensions of a single hangar unit are as follows: bi-fold doors - 41' wide, height is 12', and the total hangar depth is 33 feet. The cost for leasing a single unit is $100.00 to $120.00 per month (includes electricity).

The hangars are currently full. These units have a 42 foot door and have a height of 14 feet. The City does take names for a waiting list should a hangar become available for rent.
